Review: Urban Decay 24/ Waterproof Liquid Liner - Perversion

I did give up on the gel and cake liners now. I am a liquid liner girl, and I've been cheating on them for far too long. I gave in and ordered the one from Urban Decay and boy do I not regret it!

While using it, it does resemble the NYX Studio Liner I used to use a couple of years ago, but this is waaay better. I will be comparing it to the NYX Liner a bit in this review, if it's ok with you.
It goes on very watery, but the brush tip is super easy to manouver and it's quite stiff so its super easy to get sharp points or fine lines. It dries rarther quickly into a super black and sort of shiny finish.
Just like the NYX Studio Liner, which I get is a copy of this one from UD, it's a sort of flakey formula, I.E when removing it goes of in flakes. This means it's waterproof until rubbing it off. Which is quite hard to. I did fell asleep while wearing this, and it looked exactly the same the day after, it just lost some of its total blackness. It was awesome!
The main issue I have with this is that because of it's watery formula, it gets in the lashes and makes it hard to do a decent mascara job. This is easily resolved by adding mascara directly after painting the liner, one eye at a time-sort of way.
I had this problem with the NYX one too, but it was waaay more problematic with that one then the Perversion one. It's one of the reason I stop buing the Studio Liner.
The other reason was that the liner started to dry out in the barrel, so when pulling out the applicator you'd get clumps of dry liner that you had to whipe off. I haven't had this liner for so long so I don't know how it will look later on, but Im keeping my fingers crossed that it wont.

All in all, I'm in love with this liner. I'm back to doing eyeliner everyday again, just because its sooo easy to do a nice, sharp and smudge free one without any mistakes in a very short amount of time. Super excited to try some of the other colors now!

Have you tried this liner? What are your thoughts?

I bought this at HQhair.com for £14.00 (aand with a 20% discount)

I wrote to them on facebook, and they asked me to contact them though mail (duh, stupid of me not to do that right away.. /facepalm) and I just got an answer from them. They are sending me a new brush. Such sweethearts!

This is the picture I sent them, took it soon after I wrote the review about the brush
I love great customer service! Two thumbs up for Sedona Lace!

Review: Sedona Lace Flat Top Kabuki - Midnight Lace

My Everyday Minerals Flat Top brush started shedding again.. So I ordered this super pretty kabuki from Sedona Lace. It's so huge! And dense! And soft! And Awesome!
But really. Look at the size of this kabuki? Is like twice the size of EMs and probably twice as dense. Sorry for the yuckiness of my EM brush, I did not clean it before the photo.. because.. well.. Lazy.

The Sedona Lace brush makes a flawless finish with my mineral foundation, but I have seen that it is loosing some hairs all ready? Maybe it's just in the beginning. Hopefully it will end. (Actually, in one of the areas, I can pull out hairs to no end.... why, Sedona Lace, why? I'm sending them a mail..) e, this brush is amazing.
You can see me using it for the first time in the Speed Makeup: DGAF-video!

I bought the Flat Top Kabuki at Sedonalace.com for $17.00

Swatch: Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow - Space Cowboy

Finally, I have wanted this shadow for ages! Or well, any Moondust-shadow actually, but Space Cowboy seems to be the most versitile. It's suuuuuuuper sparkly! Easy to work with because the sheerness of the base color, but without a sort of sticky primer the sparkles will be all over your face. But with the right base it's gorgeous!

Totally inspired by EmilyNoel83s Glamazon review/tutorial inspired by Rupaul. Just loved the color combo and kept it fresh in mind until the day that my eyes felt better. Which was yesterday.
Really really like the final result, even though I am uncomfterble in those brows, the liner wasn't perfect and I really need to cut down the inner part of those lashes, too long!

Picture spam! (sorry bout the weird colors, the lighting was not good)

Swatch: Geek Chic Cosmetics

More shadows from Geek Chic! Just some randoms from different collections. Mostly "Witchcraft & Wizardry" and "Fellowship". I just had to have something from their sale in december ;P

One Ring

Heir of Isildur

"Strange Aeons"

"Witchcraft & Wizardry"
You Know Who

"Witchcraft & Wizardry" Sample!

Too bad One Ring was so gritty, I was hoping it was a bit smoother that that. It's still pretty over a sticky base, though!
Uh I cant even pick a favorite. They are all so pretty! Though Im not that sure about Always, gray/silver-shadows are not my cup of tea.

Anywho. You can find all of these shadows, along with more awesomeness, at Geek Chic Cosmetics!

Swatch & Review: Melt Cosmetics Lipstick - DGAF

While stalking around on instagram, I stumbled upon a picture of a girl with purple lips. And you might know of my obsession with finding the perfekt purple lipstick? If you didn't, now you do.
Her lipstick was By Starlight by Melt Cosmetics, and it has been Sold Out for months. Just like most of their colors.
Just before christmas they annouced that they had restocked on DGAF and 6six6, so I bought DGAF (I wanted 6six6, a daaaark dark red, too, but could only afford one of them). An hour later, DGAF was Sold Out again. Now Im just waiting for the purple By Starlight, the grey Space Cake, the dark green Blow and of course 6six6 to restock. You might get that I really enjoyed their product by me wanting more of them? If not, I REALLY WANT MORE OF THESE LIPSTICKS!
The pigmentation of DGAF is AWESOME. It's not drying, and sooooo easy to apply. The lasting power is so and so, but I dont care about that. The color is just to awesome to care about those kind of flaws ;P
Also, the smell is kind of weird at first.. Like a mix between crayons and vanilla. Haha.

Love love love the mirror that came with the package!

Yeah I had to use both these pictures, the one on the left shows off the lipstick better, but look at my damaged eye on the picture to the right! It's so angry! Thats why I haven't done makeup in a few days. But it's starting to feel a lot better. Note to all: Do not wear contacts for five days straight, day and night, if you suffer from dryness while wearing contacts.
Back to topic.
The name really suits it, haha. Dont Give A Fuck. Yay!

You can find this lipstick, and some more awesome colors, at Melt Cosmetics, for $19.00
